DSA-MAP – designed to meet QAG’s Quality Assurance Framework

Push button reports on KPIs and Annual Statistical Returns

DSA MAP enables assessment centres to organize and monitor the DSA application process more efficiently and effectively.

Now with version 2.0 of the software, assessment centres are better able to meet the requirements of the new Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) issued by the Quality Assurance Group (QAG) in November 2008.

The Critical List and customizable Summary Report mean that users can keep close control over the process of an application and have early warning of actions needed to keep an application on time.

In response to requests from users, we have also added features that enable DSA MAP to mirror the way that individual assessment centres work. We have also extended the range of features so that centres can automate many more of their activities.

DSA MAP 2.0 software includes some great new features

Operations

o   A critical list of actions ‘due soon’, ‘due today’, and ’overdue’

o   Pre-booking of assessor appointments, with the ability to reserve and allocate bookings to students

o   Automatic creation of an electronic student folder linked directly to an individual student where any type of electronic document can be stored (permission letter, email, report, etc)

o   Automatic creation of a student profile from contact details, disability, permissions log and appointment details

o   Batch emailing of assessors with details of appointments and with student profiles attached

o   Up-to-date databases containing contact details for universities and HEFCE funded colleges, and QAG approved suppliers

Reporting

o   Display of KPIs in graph format month by month for any selected year 

o   Month displays of KPI totals for conformance, non-conformance and exceptions to QAF criteria

o   KPI numbers exported and placed into an Excel chart to match the requirements of QAG’s monthly return

o   Push-button report on disabilities to meet QAF yearly statistical return

o   Push-button report on number of students assessed by study mode and funding body to meet QAF statistical return
