DSA MAP makes organizing the DSA application process more efficient and effective for both centre staff and student applicants. By computerizing activities that are time-consuming, repetitive, open to mistakes, and difficult to audit, DSA MAP makes access to data easy and provides automatically the monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and annual statistics that satisfy QAG reporting and audit requirements.
The program has been designed and developed in close association with access centres to meet the requirements for ease of use, functionality and low cost of ownership. DSA MAP handles the whole process from the moment of first contact to the point that the final report is delivered and an invoice sent to the funding body.

all appointments made including top-ups and their outcomes
freeform notes for clients, study courses, appointments, and for group and personal use
dates and completion of each stage of the process
number of days elapsed for each stage of the process and for the complete process

Summary report on the status of all assessments in progress
Reminders of actions due on current assessments, including a critical list of actions - due soon, due today, and overdue
Availability of assessors and their assessment interview commitments, together with resource allocations, including rooms and specialist equipment
A display of KPIs graphically and in number format month by month for any selected year
It simplifies:
Completing the monthly KPI returns - one click displays a monthly KPI report which can be output (in hardcopy or file format) to Word(tm) or Excel(tm) in the QAG defined format.
Reporting the annual statistics for the QAG audit process.
In addition:
Assessor appointments can be pre-booked, with the ability to reserve and allocate bookings to students
Databases are provided for Funding Bodies, Study Institutions and Approved Suppliers, with their contacts where available
The program links to Microsoft Office(tm) to generate emails and appointment letters to applicants automatically from customizable templates. It also copies appointment details to the Outlook calendar
Automatic creation of an electronic student folder linked directly to an individual student where any type of electronic document can be stored (permission letter, email, report, etc)
Automatic creation of a student profile from contact details, disability, permissions log and appointment details which can be attached as a file in emails to assessors
Batch emailing of assessors with details of appointments and with student profiles attached
Shared and personal post-it(tm) style notes
Ability to send SMS texts to students (requires Internet SMS account)
Pop-up reminder system
Ability to export data to an Excel secondary file for mail-merge tasks
